I recently had the desire to get some good headphones to use at work. I work in a fairly quiet environment with the loudest noises being the humming and clicking of some old computers used in a test lab. I like to listen to my music loud sometimes but I don't want to bother my co-workers. I needed a pair of headphones that would not let my music leak out for everyone to hear. I also wanted some headphones with high quality sound.

After researching many different styles, brands, and models, I decided to get Sennheiser's HD 280 Pro sealed headphones. They were reasonably priced at about $80 from an online retailer. After listening to the HD 280s for about a month now I can honestly say they are worth every penny. They provide very natural even sound without having overpowering bass or treble. I can listen to my music louder than I could before and my co-workers don't hear a thing. The only problem is that sometimes I don't hear a thing because the Sennheiser's block out a lot of ambient noise when you have them on.

I would highly recommend the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro sealed headphones to anyone who likes to listen to music while at work. If your work environment is really noisy these headphones will allow you to hear your music without turning the volume up too loud. These headphones will effectively block out those conversations that some of your co-workers have that you just don't want to hear. The Sennheiser HD 280s sound great with an iPod, the only con is that the iPod does not have enough power to push the volume up as loud as I want it sometimes.

Overall, I would highly recommend these headphones to anyone who needs a good pair of headphones for work. These are definitely not a set of headphones for exercising as they are too bulky and because they seal around your ears they would make you sweat quite a lot. The sound quality is superb. The Sennheiser HD 280 sealed headphones are amazing.
