I got the tv and computer hooked up and switched the hdtv setting to rgb input and I have the adio cord pluged in but now nothing will change.. what settings do I have to change on my computer?

i was wondering, if we can hook our laptops to the tv, would it damage or fry either my laptop or tv? i tried it and works but im afraid it will damage them.

hi, when i hook my hdtv ( sharp aquos) to my laptop using a hdmi (i have no other cable cable sockets on my laptop) my laptop screen just goes black.please can someone help me solve this issue.

Hi,

I have hooked up my Pakard Bell Laptop to My Alba HDTV using a HDMI cable and nothing comes up. People say "make the tv your default monitor" or something but i looked through the display settings and I dont have a clue how to do it : ( help please!

Im trying to get my Vostro 1310's audio up to my Samsung HDTV with a 3.5 mm phone cable But weve tried most sockets in our tv........help please?

We have a Sharp HDTV with 1080p resolution - it is approx 1 yr old. I have a Toshiba laptop that is about 6 or 7 years old. It has VGA output, no DVI or HDMI output. The TV has 6 input ports, ports 1 2 and 3 are RGB, ports 4 5 and 6 are HDMI ports. We bought a VGA to RGB cable, but when we plug it in I can't get the video to show up on the TV (tried the 2nd screen thing). It almost looks like from the TV manual (which isn't as helpful as I would like) that it will only accept PC input from ports 4 5 or 6. Do I need to buy a converter box instead of cables??

I have a newer laptop with HDMI and an older (2003) plasma tv with a detached tv box. The TV doesn't have HDMI but does the RGB/DVI output. I have a connector cord to connect the HDMI on my computer to the DVI on the tv box and it doesn't work. Can you tell me what to do!?!?

Hi.
I have a HP Pavillion and a B&O television. Both have s-vhs output. I've bought a cable, but i can't get the picture to show. I've tried the fn-button, didn't work...What to do?
