how can i fix the xvidcore.dll not found?
i tried to do the instructions but i cant do it ,since i could not find the xvid on the control panel in add or remove programs..is there anymore way to fix it?

allen, you could try looking in c:\Program Files\Winamp\ to see if it looks like Winamp is installed there. If it is then you could delete the whole folder and then download the latest version of Winamp from winamp.com and install that. I would imagine that this should fix your problem.

sorry, but still cant find the word Winamp in th program files..hope you'll help me...then you very much..

allen, right-click the shortcut you use to launch Winamp and go to 'Properties'. If you look at the 'Target' field it will tell you where it is running Winamp from so you will know where to delete it from. If that does not work then try searching your whole hard drive for the file 'winamp.exe' and if you have multiple hard drives search all of them so that you can locate where winamp is installed.

After you have removed Winamp from your computer then download the latest Winamp from winamp.com and install it and that should fix it.
