WENT FORM 5.5 MBPS TO 18 MBPS! WORKS JUST FINE!

Helped a bit, thanks for the tip.
Found out too that a lot of older to newer dells have their antenna in the form of an "X" in the lid behind the screen. My dell d610 works better when pointed towards the source believe it or not.
