I purchased a monthly plan with Skype.
I have tried to make a call to a non-Skype phone number on my IPhone using Fring and the call fails every time.

Does it ONLY work if I have credit?...and not a monthly subscription?

Mel,

Skype calls can only be made through Fring while you are connected to wifi. Also, are you dialing the country code at the beginning of the number as mentioned in the article?

I got it figured out! Yes, I wasn't dialing the "001" before all of the phone numbers.

Also, how would i set it up to RECEIVE Skype calls on Fring when I'm in my wifi network?

Mel,

You must have fring open and running in order to receive Skype calls. There is currently no way on the iPhone or iPod Touch to have an application (like Fring) run in the background. It would be excellent if you could.

I hope this helps,

I have Skype credit and can call an external (US) number using skype. But once I make the call I need to enter more numbers on a computer system. How can I do this? Does Fring have a dial pad?
